The Weeping Tree

My phenology site is located at the very end of the creek where the metal grate thing is. I want to tell you about the weeping tree that is in my site. It is sooo cool no matter if it has rained or snowed or anything for a few days this tree is wet from the ground to about half way up the tree. I have came to a thought that maybe the tree is pulling water from the creek but I'm not positive. Anyways I will keep the blog updated on this really cool tree once spring comes because it's frozen right now.

  2. Cree, I like that you choose to write about your weeping tree... it is definitely a unique feature. Try describing the "weeping" section for us... what does "weeping" look like exactly? What colors? How big? How much moisture? Is it just oozing, or is it literally dripping? Also, think about describing your location the way you do in your journal... use your cardinal directions and describe your site/features with enough detail that you can create a mental image for someone who has never seen your site.

Let's remember to get out the camera and update our readers with photos of your Weeping Tree!
